Good Afternoon,
I'm part of a student organization, ASME, and we're looking to build a human powered watercraft and race it. Supposedly there is a yearly competition at the Head of the Charles, but we're having trouble nailing down whether or not there is actually a competition.
What I was hoping you could help me out with would be specific competitions, dates, rules, etc. I've read through the regulations regarding the vehicle itself, but what about the race? Is it 100m or 10000m? From a dead stop or hitting the starting line at full speed?
Any information would be a great help!
