Old thread but I've read from Bicycle Guider that you should look for Youtube videos and if it doesn't help, head to the closest Local Bike Shop. Unless you don't have very expensive bike, there really aren't difference where you take it.

Hope it helps others too! Really no need to worry about, LBSs work hard to get good reputation
