There was a promotional day held at the Gold Coast City
Councils Cycling Complex in Nerang as a part of Science
week on the 9th May 2000.

Friday 4th August 2000 was scrutineering
and practice as well as a 2 hour race for juniors and SEU
students on the pedaldome.
Saturday 5th August 2000 the All Schools'
Pedal Prix Championship was held at the Gold Coast City
Council Cycling Complex Nerang. Racing from 9am.
