Michael Painter

This shows Michael's new Greenspeed GTR trike. It's a little different to many (as if recumbents aren't unique enough as they are) as it doesn't have any external gearing but still manages to be 28 speed (gear inch 13" - 117") - it originally was intended to be tooth rubber belt drive as well but that didn't eventuate.

The OEM version of the Schlumpf doesn't have a torque arm but engages in the dropout.   Bottom half of the handle is the gear shifter. There's only 1 gear lever aneeded - it turns directly from gear 1 to 14 in one sweep.
